Thank You for Coming to the Second SW Florida .Net Code Camp.

We had such a great time. And we hope you did, too.

It was our intent that all 150 of you took away something good from our event, and from what we can tell, at least most of you did.

And in doing so, we took away many good things ourselves, not the least of which were:

  • An overabundance of our school-bus yellow Code Camp t-shirts. Those will come in handy at Group meetings;
  • A sense that our community of .Net developers here in SW Florida is thriving, and a hope that it will continue to do so;
  • A repository of knowledge from our wonderful speakers. We asked them to blog and post links to the resources they shared with you - you'll find those that did on their pop-ups for each presentation;
  • A new dev community, this one Powershell, to add more fun and excitement to our already-stacked SWFL community calendar. They meet at Neighborhood America for their kickoff on 10/20 at 6:30pm (Thanks, Max! You're an inspiration!);
  • Some great ideas to try out at next year's Code Camp;
  • And certainly neither last, nor least, the many kind words and compliments from you on our event that make it all worthwhile.

To commemorate our Code Camp, I shot this probably-crappy video, in which I forgot to show you every speaker, Joe's great keynote, the scrum at the end, or any one-on-ones. But I did catch some great people, at least it's steadier on the cam than the Blair Witch Project, and it gives me something to get better at for next year. Enjoy!

See you again next year!
